Marvel Studios and Sony have come to a deal with having Spiderman in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Spiderman will no longer be played by Andrew Garfield and will first be recast. Spiderman is first going to be in a Marvel movie, most likely as a guest star, and then will be in the next installment of Sony’s Spiderman series.
Because of Spiderman being in one of the upcoming Marvel movies, Marvel Studios has changed release dates for 4 of their movies. Here are the movies that have changed release dates to these dates:
- Thor: Ragnarok – November 3, 2017
- Black Panther – July 6, 2018
- Captain Marvel – November 2, 2018
- Inhumans – July 12, 2019
Hopefully they can tie Spiderman in really well and make it excellent. Now they just need to work with Fox to get the rights to X-men and Fantastic 4.
