“Frozen Ever After” at Epcot

frozen-ever-after2Disney has announced the name of the Frozen ride that is replacing Maelstrom at Epcot. The ride will be called “Frozen Ever After” and will follow the same track as Maelstrom.

The ride will start with the Winter in Summer Celebration where Queen Elsa embraces her powers and creates a winter-in-summer day for the entire kingdom. Then you visit Elsa’s Ice Palace and the ice-blue world of the North Mountain along with other locations before returning to the Bay of Arendelle. The Snowgies from the animated short “Frozen Fever,” will also be part of this attraction, along with Anna, Olaf, Sven, Kristoff, and Marshmallow. There will also be the spectacular sights inspired by the film.

This ride will feature newer audio-animatronics like the ones from the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom. They will have projections for faces.

The Norway pavilion is also getting more buildings next to it with many Norwegian architectural features. There will also be a meet-and-greet area for meeting Anna and Elsa. These buildings will be in between the Norway and Mexico Pavilions.
